NAVY BLUE PRIMARY BATH

We were brought in midway with this project, a primary suite addition including a bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet. In the bathroom, the client had already chosen cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware but needed help choosing tile, a window treatment, and something to fill a large gap left between the vanity and linen cabinet. We suggested a bench to fill the gap, both as an opportunity to add some softness to the room and as a convenient spot to sit when needed. For the tile we chose three different patterns - classic grey and white marble for the floor with a quatrefoil pattern, a navy and white tile with a lot of movement for the tall wall in the toilet nook, and glossy blue rectangular tile used in a subway pattern behind the vanity and lay in a herringbone pattern inside the shower enclosure. We had a cushion for the bench upholstered in navy blue with gold welting and echoed this color combination with a gold linen roman shade edged in navy circle trim.
