Our clients for this living room renovation have young children and wanted a room that was elegant enough for entertaining but still family and pet friendly. The blue and white color palette and woven finishes were inspired by the house's coastal location near the Boston Harbor. We chose a sturdy but still lovely performance fabric for the sofa and added custom upholstery to classic spool chairs. The open shelves offer a space for our clients to display personal treasures and family photos and a frame TV doubles as wall art when not being used as a television. We love that our clients wanted to include the glass bubble light ceiling fixture for a touch of whimsy and glamour. Click any of the photos below for a closer look.
